Helping Kids Love Fiber

More fiber, please! A great way to get fiber in your diet is through flax! Flaxseed, although good for you, isn’t the best tasting dietary food. Growing children need a certain daily amount of fiber in their diets and are not getting the proper serving. Found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes fiber is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation. But fiber can provide other health benefits as well, such as lowering your risk of diabetes and heart disease. Here is a great recipe kids will love and it will help their diet!
